“Thread of Life” Exhibition 12pm-6pm 15-24 July 2022

Leanne’s personal collection of Japanese boro textiles will be in “The Salon” Level 2 Nicholas Building for this winter exhibition in the city.

“The Japanese word BORO can be translated to mean rags but there is so much more meaning and story in the stitches of these patched textles.  My collection began when I lived in Japan and has continued on return trips over the past 25 years. The collection was exhibited at Ararat Textile Art Museum TAMA in 2021 during COVID19 lockdown & I’m delighted to be able to give visitors another opportunity to see it in Melbourne.”         Leanne O’Sullivan
